Visiting the Ashram
The Ashram is very open, friendly and hospitable. Swami Ji’s family who lives there creates a loving atmosphere which welcomes everybody to be a part of the Ashram family.
Unlike many Ashrams in India, our Ashram emphasizes the freedom that each individual has to follow their own way of devotion. There is no scheduled praying or ritual time and there are no strict clothing restrictions or rules of behaviour.
Visitors are free to spend their time as they please. You may wish to sit in the peace and tranquillity of the Ashram and enjoy the wonderful energy. You can also visit Swami ji’s cave, where he spent over three and half years meditating. Here you can experience the very high loving vibration and absorb its healing qualities. Yoga classes are available whenever a group is coming for Yoga holidays and when special courses are offered.
Delicious meals are served and shared in a very loving way at the Ashram. You may also like to visit some of Vrindavan’s many temples, other ashrams or markets.
All visitors are welcome. However, this is an Ashram, not a hotel. We are not a hotel nor are we charging anything per room per night. Even to the poorest traveller we love to give the possibility to stay here. We are happy to open our doors for people who feel a connection with the Ashram and who are interested in our projects and activities. We do not welcome people who are related with any sect and their manipulating activities.
The principle of our Ashram is to share our food, room, our feelings and our love. And we love to share! Many people are working here to keep the building and the garden as nice and clean as it is. Our charity projects are growing and we would like to invite more and more people to come and see what we have already achieved. To be able to maintain this we would like to ask every guest to consider giving a donation of an affordable amount.
